NCN KIDS

BGMC (Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge) is the missions education emphasis for children in the Assemblies of God. It provided resources to help teach kids about missions. It supports our missionaries in thier fields of ministry in America and around the world.

Did you know? Among the Assemblies of God Missionaries, 85% were called to be missionaries while they were between the ages of 9 and 13!

Please review your giving totals carefully to be sure it matches your records. Please keep in mind that the National Office handles all BGMC records; the district simply receives information from them. Therefore, the most expedient way to handle questions will be to contact the National Office directly. What's our goal?

The Northern California and Nevada District Children's Ministries has set a goal of $200,000 for BGMC in 2008. That's an increase of $49,000!

Are we crazy?

Perhaps. Even more than that, we have a desire to see kids all across our district be used by God to impact eternity. It is our desire to help raise up kids who have a passion for missions...a passion for telling others the Good News of Christ! We want the kids of the NCN District to make a difference; we want people to remember they were here!

So, how are we going to do it?

• RECRUIT 50 non- giving churches from 2007 to give $500 in 2008. That's $25,000!
• RECRUIT 8 churches to get 25 kids to give $50 for the Africa Oasis Project. That's $10,000!
• INCREASE total giving from 2007 by 10% in 2008 through increasing missions awareness. That's $15,000!
